Anthony Mantha signed a one-year deal with the Calgary Flames but will spend the rest of the season recovering from an ACL injury that requires surgery. Known for his injury struggles, Mantha has not played a full 82-game season since 2017-18, and his performance has declined since leaving the Red Wings. In 13 games this season, he recorded seven points while averaging just under 14 minutes of ice time per game. Mantha's best seasons came early in his career, but he has not been able to regain that form, despite a decent showing last year with 44 points split between the Capitals and Golden Knights.
